VERA WANG SILVER AND GIFTS COLLECTION INTRODUCES NEW TABLETOP AND HOME DECOR

NEW YORK, New York (October 29, 2004) - - Vera Wang continues to design modern and refined products for the Spring 2005 Tabletop Show. Vera has expanded her home décor collection with the addition of colored leather, glass and lacquer to compliment the bold colors of her Spring 2005 Transitional dinnerware. The Spring collection includes vibrant colors such as a sunny, warm orange; a rich, sun drenched blue and a lush forest green as well as Vera's signature colors of dove white and chocolate brown. This season, the art of table setting expands to include new flatware patterns, handsome leather napkin rings and placemats, and glassware.

Vera Wang introduces two new stainless flatware patterns, inspired by the design of the giftware/holloware lines, Love Knots and Vesta. The Love Knot, a signature icon in the Vera Wang Home collection, is applied to the flatware handle and is the perfect compliment to the Love Knot line. The Vesta collection is luxurious yet durable, as appropriate for formal dinner parties as they are for everyday use. The flatware sets, new for spring, are available in stainless steel and consist of eight, five piece place settings and a hostess set, making today's busy lifestyle easier.

Color is an exciting addition this Spring, especially with the introduction of two new materials to the collection, glass and lacquer. A fusion of color and geometry, Vera Wang has designed glass bowls and vases, in contrasting shapes like square, round and cylinder. Lacquer boxes and trays, accented by the colors of the new Destination dinnerware, create a sophisticated design element for the home.
