WALLACE SILVERSMITHS HIGHLIGHTS KEY PRODUCTS FOR FALL 2004

New York, NY (April 16, 2004) -- As a company, Wallace Silversmiths is committed to consistently creating high quality and innovative merchandise. New offerings from Wallace this fall will include a strategic price initiative on it's top selling Grande Baroque Silverplated holloware collection, a new assortment of Christmas Giftware, a Halloween Collection, and new silver collectible items. These new products can be seen at the 2004 New York Tabletop Show in April.

Grande Baroque is the silver Industry's top selling sterling flatware pattern. Known for its classic ornate design, Grand Baroque silverplated holloware is a collection of sixteen high quality hostess and entertaining items.

  • Grande Baroque Tea set is elegant and sophisticated. It has five pieces and sits on a beautiful tray. Every piece has the Grande Baroque applied border design. A great way to have afternoon tea alone or with friends, it also serves as a great wedding or anniversary gift. This five-piece Tea Set has a retail price of $900.
  • Grande Baroque Buffet Server is great for entertaining. This large buffet server has a capacity of three quarts and one burner to keep your food warm.
  • The Grande Baroque Coffee Urn or samovar holds up to 25 cups and is useful when entertaining.
  • A variety of trays will be introduced in the line, Oval trays, Well & Tree Tray, Rectangular Trays (16 x 12) and (18.5 x13.5), and a Round Tray with Handles. All are practical for everyday use and come in handy when entertaining.
  • Other products from Grande Baroque include a Wine Cooler to hold your wine at the dinner table or in a bar area. A 15- piece Punch Set with a ladle, 12 cups, a tray and punch bowl. The Punch set is a great way to serve eggnog to your family or guests during the holidays. A Covered Casserole, Chafing Dish, Butter Dish, Waiters and Water Pitchers will also be part of Grande Baroque.

For Christmas 2004, Wallace will introduce silverplate line of new musicals, water globes, night-lights and more. First, from the movie White Christmas, Wallace has signed a partnership with Viacom Consumer Products in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Paramount Pictures film White Christmas'.

  • The White Christmas Water Globe features the characters from the movie - Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby), Phil Davis (Danny Kaye), Betty Haynes(Rosemary Clooney) and Judy Haynes (Vera-Ellen). The Water Globe plays instrumental music from White Christmas (an Oscar winning song played by Bing Crosby). A Night Light and Silver Ornament with a similar design will also be available for Christmas 2004. New product introductions for Christmas 2005 are underway.
  • Nutcracker Musical Globe recreates the scene with Clara holding the Nutcracker and starting to dance while the music from the Ballet plays.
  • Musical Christmas Egg features the Holy Family (Jesus, Mary and Joseph) twirling to "Silent Night" instrumental music. The Egg is of an antique, ornate design. It is silverplate and has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $45.
  • Musical Christmas Morning Water Globe features two children rushing down the stairs Christmas Morning and plays "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." It has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $57.
  • Christmas Crystal Silver Egg has an angel in the egg, which is illuminated when the egg is opened. This Egg has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $57.

Also from Wallace are the annual silverplate and sterling ornaments.

  • New for Holiday 2004 is the Mini Egg Ornament, which will surely look splendid on the Christmas tree. Annual silverplate ornaments include 12 Days Mini Bell, Santa Bell, Ball Bell, Grande Baroque Bell, and Candy Cane.
  • A gold plate Ball Bell is also available to hang from your tree. These ornaments are great as gifts to a new bride and groom to celebrate their first Christmas, a baby's first Christmas or any special memory to cherish.

Prior to the Holidays, Wallace introduces new seasonal Halloween products including two Water Globes that light up. A Witch Water Globe with an automatic blower to allow the bats to fly around and a Vampire Water Globe with tea lights. They are both fantastic fun ways to decorate for Halloween. Both have a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $30.

New collectibles include a Wedding Water Globe, Carousel and Tooth Fairy Walter Globe.

  • The Wedding Water Globe has a bride and groom in the center with instrumental music of "Here Comes The Bride" that plays when you wind the Globe.
  • The Carousel is a scene from the 1940's and is of different characters and animals. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $40.
  • Tooth Fairy Water Globe features a box on top for children's teeth on that special occasion when the Tooth Fairy makes a visit. Also makes it easier for the Tooth Fairy rather than under the child's pillow.
  • Rocking Horse Photo Water Globe is great for your baby's room, with a rocking horse in the center of the globe and a place to display your baby's photo. Simply slide the photo up through the base of the globe displaying the child's photo. The top of the globe has a teddy bear with diapers looking down on the child. This is an adorable piece for any child's room and has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $30.

Wallace Silversmiths will also introduce some new sterling silver frames made in Italy. They have polish wood backs, which makes the frame nice to look at from all angles. There will be four new styles Pallazzo, Olimpia, Botegga and Corinthian Leaf, all are updated looks for the modern and traditional consumer. The glass on all the frames are rounded making it easy to load and unload photos. The sterling silver frames will be available in 4x6, 5x7, and 8x10 sizes.
