INTERNATIONAL SILVER INTRODUCES NEW PRODUCTS FOR NEW YORK TABLETOP SHOW

New York, NY (April 16, 2004) -- International Silver prides itself on providing high quality products with exceptional value to consumers. From magnificent sterling silver to our newest line of housewares product and cutlery, International Silver is timeless. This multi-lateral brand continues to grow this season with the Buffet in a Box, Wood Blocks, Barware, Holiday Collectibles, Games and new 18/10 stainless steel flatware from Cuisinart.

Due to the initial success of the Buffet in a Box, International Silver will introduce the Buffet Salad and Pasta sets and Buffet Crudités. These products are perfect solutions for entertaining in either a casual and formal setting. All products are care free and feature a no tarnish finish.

  • Buffet Salad and Pasta Stand is silverplate it consists of one salad/pasta serving bowl, (8) individual salad/pasta bowls, (8) 18/10 stainless steel forks, (8) 18/10 stainless steel spoons, two cruets and a ladle. The Buffet Salad/Past Stand has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $180.
  • Buffet Crudités holds (8) 7 1/2 inch platinum banded plates, a 12 inch crudités platter with sectionals, (8) 18/10 stainless steel forks, a serving spoon and fork and a rack with a wooden handle. The Buffet Crudités has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $150.

The International Wood sets are great products for the kitchen whether for personal use or for use in entertaining guests. They are fun to display food and are extremely functional for cutting. Last fall, International Silver introduced a wood cheese board with magnetic striping around its circumference to hold knives. Never loose another knife again! New for Fall 2004 are:

  • Natural hard wood in walnut and dense heavy wood in bamboo blocks. Bamboo is a popular new wood because of its sturdiness and unique parquet design.
  • An alternative use for the wood blocks will be the new Chips & Dip Bowl includes a separate wood bowl for the dip that looks great with other International wood products.
  • Salad Bowl and Platter are two other great additions to the product line and can be used for entertaining or for every day use. Salad servers are also included.

International Silver also has some clever, innovative Barware introductions including Bar in a Bucket and Martini for Two to name a few. The Barware is great for entertaining at home, as well as a wonderful housewarming gift for friends.

  • Martini for Two has individual martini shakers, eight ounce martini glasses and an oval tray. Enjoy Martini for Two with someone special. This item is stainless steel and has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $45.
  • The 7pc Satin Bar Set is a brushed stainless steel with a satin finish and includes the following pieces: covered ice bucket with strap handle, bottle cocktail shaker and four piece bar tools. The tools sit on a contemporary shaped rack, making it easy to entertain in a small area. The Bar on a Rack has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $75.
  • The Margarita Set includes (4) multi-colored stems with a 48- ounce clear pitcher. As with the Buffet Sets, the Margarita Set's rack feature a wooden handle so it is easy to carry from room to room. This fun set has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $60.

The holidays are almost here and International Silver has some fabulous Christmas items set and ready to go.

  • Stocking Holder Water Globes are available in three different designs (Santa, Snowman and Christmas tree) featured in the middle of the globe with red and green color accents. They have an automated snow blower allowing the snow to fall without shaking the globe. The water globe's bases are silverplate with an embossed Santa flying with his reindeers over a village. This is a wonderful way to hang stockings on a mantel during the Christmas season. Each Water Globe has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $30.
  • Everyone needs a Christmas Card Holder to display their holiday cards. They are available in the shape of an Angel and Christmas tree, both stand 22 inches high and hold up to 24 cards. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $20.
  • What is Christmas without a Nativity set? International Silver will offer two Nativity sets for the holidays, one offers larger figures and the other smaller figures. The manufacturer's suggested retail price ranges from $20 -$37.50.
  • Two new Musicals for the holidays are an Angel that plays "Hark! The Herald Angel Sings," and a Christmas tree with "We Wish you a Merry Christmas." The musicals are crystal with color accents highlighting the centerpiece. The musicals also move when the music plays. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $25.
  • A Holiday Santa Mobile, unique product that can be hung from the Christmas tree or stand on its own. The design features the outline of a tree with presents and reindeers and can hang like a mobile. The Santa Mobile has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $37.50.
  • New Holiday Light votives featuring a snowman, Christmas tree and Santa and his sleigh are new for this season. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $20.
  • A set of Three Multi-Colored Votives, frosted and colored with a snowflake are new for fall. They are available in blue, red and green and have a silverplate base with a reindeer. The manufacturer's suggested retail price of $20.
  • Snowman Votive Holder features a snowman with a red ribbon scarf, six frosted cups and tea lights. It has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $37.50.
  • Santa's Journey is a multi-taper candleholder with Santa and his sleigh. It is silverplate with color accents with gold stars. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $20.
  • A set of Three Ornament Bowls are all different shaped and are terrific to display candy and other small goodies. They are silverplate with color accents. The bowls are great holiday gifts and perfect accessories when entertaining. They have a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $37.50.
  • The Christmas Tree divided serving dish is great for appetizers or sides. Tree Server has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $20.

A great gift for executives this fall is the Board Room Dart Game.

Cuisinart, which is marketed and sold under a licensed agreement with International Silver Company, will introduce two expanded flatware sets for spring.

  • The two 89-piece set services of 12 from Cuisinart are dinner sized and include salad forks and iced beverage spoons. Available in the Crescent and Rockway patterns these sets are great for entertaining. A key element to this collection is the packaging-all the boxes are similar in their aesthetic, making it easy for consumers to find Cuisinart at retail. The manufacturer's suggested retail price for 89-piece sets is $100.

Continuous product introductions from International Silver include 100-piece sets, 81-piece sets and 45-piece sets including traditional stainless steel flatware, steak knives and caddies.
